The Senior Manager, Operational Effectiveness will play a pivotal role in advancing the maturity, performance, and efficiency of the Supply Chain function in Brazil. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Sr Director, this role is designed to drive business process optimization, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving the Supply Chain Operational Excellence Program, with an initial focus on Brazil, while aligning with corporate strategies and long-term growth ambitions. Additionally, this leader will oversee and deliver strategic transformation projects, such as the implementation of Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE).
This position will directly support the company’s mission to maximize financial results, improve margins, and ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
What will you do?
- Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to the Supply Chain Sr Director, contributing to strategic decision-making and long-term planning. Shape and execute the Operational Excellence roadmap for Supply Chain in Brazil, ensuring alignment with global corporate strategies. Serve as a transformation agent, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Operational Excellence & Process Optimization: Lead the design, deployment, and evolution of the Supply Chain Operational Excellence Program. Identify, assess, and implement process improvements, efficiency opportunities, and cost-reduction initiatives across end-to-end supply chain activities.
Standardize best practices, policies, and tools to drive consistency, scalability, and improved performance. Establish governance and operating models to support sustainable execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Drive collaboration across Commercial, Manufacturing, Customization, Procurement, and Finance to enable integrated planning and decision-making.
Influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives.
Lead change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new processes and frameworks. - Project & Program Management: Lead strategic projects with high business impact, including the implementation of S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution).
Manage project pipelines, timelines, budgets, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Track and report progress, risks, and impact to executive stakeholders. - Performance & Impact Measurement: Define and monitor operational and financial KPIs, ensuring transparency of results and accountability.
Translate operational excellence initiatives into measurable outcomes, including EBITDA impact, margin improvement, and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards in all initiatives.
What do you need for this role?
- MBA or Equivalent - Administration, Engineering
- Proficiency in continuous improvement tools (PDCA, 5S, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Kaizen, Kanban, value stream mapping, labor measurement, Lean Office, leadership routines, standardized work, etc.)
- Agility in implementing strategic plans and objectives across all levels
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven track record in building high-performance teams
- Active participation in external forums and innovation networks
- English Advanced
- Spanish language skills are a desirable qualification.
