Coordenador de Processos e Melhoria Contínua

The Process and Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for technically leading the analysis, optimization, standardization, and innovation of production processes in Machining, Assembly, Welding, and Painting, working directly on the shop floor. Their work is driven by data, performance indicators, and industrial engineering tools, with a focus on increasing productivity, ensuring process stability, reducing variability, waste and costs, improving quality and operational safety, and guaranteeing sustainable results.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of process technicians/analysts
Technically analyze Machining, Assembly, Welding, and Painting processes, identifying bottlenecks, waste (MUDA), process variations, and causes of productivity losses
Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PDCA, and statistical process analysis
Perform value stream mapping (VSM), time and methods studies, line balancing, and define and optimize production layouts
Develop, review, and implement standard operating procedures, work instructions, process sheets, and visual standards to ensure process repeatability and stability
Define, monitor, and analyze technical KPIs such as OEE, efficiency, productivity, lead time, rework rate, scrap, and production capacity
Apply problem-solving and analytical tools such as Root Cause Analysis (Ishikawa, 5 Whys), PFMEA, SPC/CEP, A3, and 8D
Provide technical support to implement 5S, SMED (quick changeover), setup standardization, and reduction of non-productive time
Technically support supervisors, team leaders, and operators in process stabilization, resolution of chronic issues, and daily continuous improvement
Ensure sustainability of improvements through process audits, routine follow-up (Gemba), and control of implemented standards
Contribute technically to industrialization projects, capacity expansion, and improvements in safety, quality, and process performance
Lead CAPEX investment processes in alignment with the company’s strategic plan
